London Array

London Array

In a joint venture with Per Aarsleff, Bilfinger constructed the foundations for 175 wind turbines and two substations at London Array wind park for Dong Energy and E.ON,.

The order included the design, prefabrication and installation of monopiles up to 60 meters long, approximately 20 to 35 kilometres from the UK coast.

London Array is one of the largest offshore wind farm project in the world - 341 turbines produce 1,000 MW of electricity – enough to meet the needs of 750,000 homes or a quarter of Greater London.
