Bilfinger Salamis UK offers a two-year Operations Graduate Programme which involves successful candidates completing a range of placement rotations in different areas of operations. The programme enables graduates to develop their knowledge and expertise in various areas of work, working on live projects and receiving on and off the job training in the process.
In year 1, graduates will be placed into different operational areas and agree on an individual project. Graduates will be given feedback from line managers and the programme manager after each placement. At the end of year 1, the annual appraisal will take place where all areas and all feedback are taken into consideration. The graduate will also conduct a presentation at the end of year 1 one their learning and experience.
In year 2, graduates will be allocated to one specific operational delivery area, with the opportunity to interact with clients and offshore sites. On successful completion of year 2, the graduates will be assigned to a project team. Additional opportunities for secondments will vary dependant on an individual’s skills, experience, career plans and on the availability of secondments within the business groups.
